Continuing Education Maximums:
Maximum of 20 hours may be earned for each individual NAB (NCERS) approved program
All 40 hours may be self-study and online (distance learning) but only 20 hours may be earned by NAB (NCERS) approved programs. At least 20 hours must be approved by the MS State Board (found on the MS State Board of Nursing Home Administrators’ website).
For any NAB approved courses you must submit the certificate with the NAB approval number for credit
Individual requests: An Application and the Application Fee must be submitted to the Board at least 30 days prior to the program’s date. For a college course, you must submit the Application and Application Fee while in attendance to the class. A maximum of 10 hours for individually approved programs per licensure period or a maximum of 20 hours (3 semester hours) credit for college courses per license period may be earned.
